Twin Flower

Twin Flower or Linnaea borealis also called the creeping shrub is part of the Caprifoliaceae family. They bloom in june or early july a vine with oval shaped leaves about one centimeter across adjacent to one another and about 3 feet long. They sprout a stock from its vine where two flowers hang like bell flowers that are a pink and white mixture of color blooming from its top and opposite sides hence its name with small hair like fibers by the flowers, they growing in wet shaded areas in coniferous areas. They also produce nutlets that can be between 1.5-3 millimeters long and are hook shaped. They also have many commons names like
