Bumble Bee


The Bumble Bee is a type of Bombus sp. they are black and yellow striped with 6 black legs, 2 wings; made up of 2 parts, the fore wing and the rear wing. Their bodies are made up of an abdomen which is the large rear end, the thorax which is where the legs and wings grow out of and the head which is where their eyes and antenna are. Bumble bees are known for their loud buzzing wings and pollination of flowers and other plants by collect pollen from flowers and plants; some of the pollen is left on other plants fertilizing them, they are found in northern temperate regions. They are also said to have been disappearing in large numbers of the last few years for unknown reasons and have only been explained though theories thus far.
